2) Your previous album You Are OK is almost one year old! Could you perhaps tell us more about what happened during the entire year which followed the release? Any fun facts that happened while on tour?

We got to play the first track we released, Numb Without You, in front of our closest friends and most dedicated fans at the second installment of our 8123 Fest. After releasing the album we have done nothing but nonstop tour. All around the world and back again. In the midst of it all we opened a Merch store in our hometown of Phoenix. We played a show with a string quintet all for one lucky fan. We got to join the Reading and Leeds festivals. It was nice to see this side of the world in the summer months. I’m daydreaming about that weather as we traveling through Europe currently. We were apart of the very first Sad Summer Festival in the states We brought the album to life with the mirror and we are now finally bringing it to you! We didn’t really stop this year but the energy at every show made it all worth it.

3) Do you have a favorite song to play live off of this record? If you had to pick a song each that holds a particular meaning to you, what would it be?

Slip the Noose- there is not a drop of energy left at the end of this one. I’ve been told it’s like a religious experience. For me it’s bliss. Definitely my favorite song to perform at the moment.

4) Is there a new album in sight, or some new songs perhaps?

We can’t sit still for long. Always working on new ideas, we’ll see!

5) What are your upcoming plans for this summer? Any festivals in mind?

6) Error404 not only deals with music but also with anything pop-culture and entertainment related. – Therefore to start off, we would like to know what your all time favorite video game is?

Zelda is my all time favorite, but I get into all the modern stuff too. Rocket League, Call of Duty, etc.

Do you perhaps expect a particular game? What about board games?

I’m also a fan of board games puzzles you name it.

If anything at all, is there any movies or TV shows that you would recommend?

Recently I’ve loved the Watchmen series on HBO I believe. Also really loved a series called Dark on Netflix –

In the past few months, have you read a book that you find particularly interesting?

And if so, can you tell us more about it?

I read the watchmen series comic recently too. Sooo good! I need some good book suggestions. –

What are you listening to at the moment? Have you made a musical discovery lately that you would like to tell us about?

I’m jamming a band called Thee Oh Sees !

Max : Salut Kennedy, es-tu toujours OK ?

M : Votre précédent album You Are OK a pratiquement un an ! Peux-tu nous raconter ce qu’il s’est passé pour vous durant toute cette année ? Quelques anecdotes de tournée par exemple ?

K : On a du jouer la première chanson qu’on avait sortie, Numb Without You, pour nos amis proches et nos plus grands fans lors de la deuxième édition du 8123 Fest. C’était un moment incroyable. Après avoir sorti l’album, on a enchaîner les tournées sans s’arrêter. Dans le monde entier, encore et encore… Puis au milieu de tout ça, on a ouvert une boutique de merch chez nous, à Phoenix. On a aussi joué un show à 5 guitares pour un fan chanceux, et on a joué notre premier Reading/Leeds Festival. (ndlr : ils ont été annoncé à nouveau en 2020, mais sur la Main Stage cette fois-ci !)

C’était trop cool de voir l’Europe pendant ces mois estivaux. Je rêve en ce moment de cette météo, car on traverse l’Europe en ce moment, et c’est pas pareil !

Enfin, on a participé au premier Sad Summer Festival aux US, et puis on arrive maintenant pour vous en Europe ! On a jamais arrêté cette année en fait, mais l’énergie qu’on reçoit à chaque concert vaut plus que le coup !

M : As-tu une chanson préférée à jouer en live ?

K : Je dirai Slip The Noose. C’est pas vraiment une chanson très energique, mais pour moi c’est comme une expérience religieuse. C’est clairement la chanson que je préfère jouer en ce moment.

M : Des nouveaux titres de prévus ?

K : Ah… On ne reste pas sans rien faire bien longtemps… On travaille toujours sur de nouvelles idées, nous verrons bien ce que nous réserve les prochaines semaines !

NDLR : On avait une question sur les tournées estivales, mais entre l’interview et la publication, le groupe a annoncé sa présence sur la main stage de Reading/Leeds !)

M : Error404, ce n’est pas que de la musique, mais aussi beaucoup de pop-culture ! On veut en savoir un peu plus sur toi ! Quel est ton jeu vidéo préféré de tous les temps ?

K : Zelda est clairement mon préféré, mais j’aime aussi ce qui se fait aujourd’hui : Rocket League, Call Of Duty etc.

et les jeux de société alors ?

K : Justement ! Je suis un grand fan de jeux de société et de puzzles !

M : Aurais-tu une série ou un film à nous recommander ?

K : J’ai regardé la série Watchmen d’HBO récemment, j’ai adoré ! J’ai beaucoup aimé Dark sur Netflix également.

M : Un livre peut-être ?

K : J’ai lu les comics Watchmen, pour rester dans le thème. C’est tellement cooooool ! J’aimerai bien avoir quelques suggestions de livres pour la suite aussi…

M : Pour finir, qu’est ce qui te fait vibrer musicalement en ce moment ?

Je m’éclate avec un groupe nommé Thee Oh Sees !
